Hello there!
We’re Marcia and Laurie, performing as Avenue Acoustic Duo in Norfolk, UK.
Since 2009 we’ve been privileged to play at tons of public venues, weddings, parties and corporate functions. And we still come out in public when our other commitments permit.
You may also see the pair of us around the circuit performing with sixties band The Men from Uncle Barry.

What we play
Because we’re not reliant on backing tracks we can be really flexible about what we play.
That’s why we’ve ended up covering everything from Eva Cassidy to The Clash, and The Carpenters to Bernard Cribbins.
We perform gentle background music, riotous singalongs, or most requests if we can get a wi-fi signal.
In fairness, we don’t cover many modern songs (even though we did once share a bill with Ed Sheeran), but if we’ve heard of something we’ll usually be able to give it a bash on the fly.
